Beautiful lake, clean sites, water at site, can't see really big RV'S here, but I'm in a little tear drop, had my choice of spots, not a soul here! Beautiful fire pit, next site had gorgeous oak pre cut among with the pine. Hot water worked at sink, tried shower- a little icky looking, handicapped one was broken, ran for a little bit without getting hot. Nothing even close to this amazing in NM! WHERE IS EVERYBODY??

I stayed 2 nights & paid before looking over the bathhouse. The grounds were clean & there was only one other camper there but the park has a boat ramp that gets a lot of day use. I'd give the CG a higher rating but the bathhouse couldn't get any worse. The men's side reminded me of 60's era service station rest rooms (if you're too young to remember them, this is not flattering). I'm no prude but would never even try to sit on that toilet. In fact, it looked like someone felt the same way & squatted over the urinal. And the showers weren't any better. On top of that, the only sink in the bathhouse had hot water but none of the 3 showers did. I only booked a reservation here because it was in my path & had showers. The bathhouse had the look of a place that never gets cleaned - NEVER!
If you like fishing or boating & do not need a toilet or shower provided I highly recommend this CG otherwise don't waste you time or money.

Stayed here for one night because not too far from I-10 on way home from TN. It's a cheap state campground $11.25. There is a camp host living right at entrance and they should be fired, because the bath house was filthy, stunk like urine with bugs and trash all around. No hot water in shower.
There was garbage in all the fire rings, not sure why that is because there are garbage cans all over. I blame the camp host for not doing their job. A person fishing at the pond said the camp host refused to clean because the cart broke down and the State had not fixed it. The entire campground is maybe 12 spots and maybe 100 yards long.
Other than the lack of cleanliness it could be a real nice place. There is a large pond there with a boat ramp, it is at the end of the road and quiet at night. There is a dock to watch the pond, fish, etc.
Spots are close together like long parking lot spaces. There is water but NO ELECTRIC. Each spot has a table and fire ring.

We decided to stay here despite earlier reviews and we are glad we did. It is a beautiful little 10 RV campground and was only 1/2 filled on a Saturday night. However this cg is not good for large RV’s or long trailers. We have a 16’ trailer and it was a bit tricky getting in and out of the site. Granted it is the smallest RV site they have.
We were super excited about the scenery and quiet until......
Our closest neighbor came back and fired up their generator🙄
I peeked in the woman’s bathroom and it looked relatively clean and the sites were fairly clean as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights in my 19’ self-contained Winnebago Revel. Need levelers; sites are sloped. Water, picnic table, trash bin, fire pit. Bathrooms and showers are passable but dated. No electric in the bathroom.
Beautiful lake views, quiet little park at the end of a road. 10-15 spots and only one other was used when I stayed. Fishing dock and even cleaning tables! Charles, the Camp Host, has been there a year and does a great job He’s helpful and accommodating. Can’t beat the price! One of the best kept secrets in Tallahassee area Camping.

This place claims to have large camper sites. I disagree. After speaking with locals we were told that others have pulled big rigs down here and had the same problem. So I’m not sure why they aren’t updating the website. Pretty frustrating for those left stranded. We have a 35 foot travel trailer. Just driving the loop road we miss trees by 4 inches on the swing. The sites maybe long enough but the trees, stumps, fences etc leave very tight spaces for maneuvering. We didn’t have enough space to pull into a site. Even if we had somehow managed to get through the sharp turn into the site, the sharp turn out would have been worse. The only site that MIGHT be big rig friendly is site #1.
The road that leads to the campground entrance is a boat landing. If you get down in there and there are boat trailers parked, you can get stuck and have to back out of the road. Not much space here to move around.
The biggest travel trailer I would say that should come down here is 27 ft.
We called the campground office and got a full refund. We spoke with them about updating their website. They were polite and happy to hear feedback.

We spent three nights here with two other campers in sites 6, 7 and eight. The campground is configured in an oval with 10 pull through sites that are immediately next to each other. In that regard its more like an RV park. You pull into your site. On the passenger side is your pad with a picnic table fire pit and grill and immediately next to that is the pull through for the next site. There’s no plant separation or any other kind of barrier between the sites.
Having said that if you get lucky and have quiet neighbors it’s a really lovely little campground. It’s right on the lake with several nice little fishing piers that go down to the lake level. There’s also a big group site. The bathhouse was adequate - plenty of hot water and water pressure for showers. The camp host is very helpful. We had good solar in site 6 but 7 & 8 were shaded. Look at the photos in Google maps. There’s a couple of good ones that really show the campground part of the park. We saw lots of osprey and there is a Hawk nest right in the campground where the parents are feeding hatchlings. We went on a little paddle in our kayak and saw several alligator, great blue heron, green heron and a Marsh hen.
Be aware that the boat ramp sees lots of activity and there is a picnic shelter on that end of the park. The bathhouse is shared by campers, fishermen, and the public using the shelter.
