Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 19, 2023Beautiful small park with 8 sites. Each have water & electric. Nice playground in the center, 3 picnic pavilions, public restrooms and beautiful shade trees. I believe it’s actually part of the Otoe County Fairgrounds as it has a horse arena with grandstand. We arrived about 6pm and there were only 2 other campers in the park. One of which was a very large class A towing a car. Sites are very large and spread out. We almost missed this place because there is a private campground across the street called ‘Just One More Campground’, and they have a dump station ($5 fee). This is the kind of place we love on a travel day!!

Saw the previous review as I was looking for a quick overnight stop. Would have just stopped for a few hours and parked at the Loves gas station but this was perfect for a good nights rest! I only used electric, not sure if there was water available, I stopped here in December. Box at entry to place $10 fee in, so have cash on you!

We stayed her last night in our 36ft Motorhome with toad. There were two other couples camping. The east side of the park has big trees you can park under on the grass. We had 30amp electric and water. There where 4 other sites on the other side of the park with less shade but same setup. It’s 4th of July weekend so some locals setting off fireworks, we setup our lawn chairs and enjoyed the show. It was quiet after 1030 or so. Nice little town and great camping for $10! Our GPS was wonky …come in on first street and make a right on plum. There are fair exhibit buildings and horse stables on the right. You can stop in the big gravel parking lot next to the park area to scope out your site. Pull in by the silver pay box choose a pole with electric and park!

The directions take you out of town to a board members ranch. He will tell you go back into town. It’s a great spot. Only saw two water sites but they would share. Several electrical connections. Nice and quiet and dark. Great spot

Based on previous reviews we put 198 Plum St in our gps so it brought us in on 1st street to Plum. Pulled into a gravel lot on the left and then the park was to the left of that. Walked over to check it out. There were three electrical boxes with 2 - 30 amp plugs in each. Saw one water spigot. Picked a spot and drove in by the white payment box. Put $10 in the box. We were the only ones there. My husband walked around and said there were some more electrical boxes scattered around. They are on poles.

Water and 30amp on level grass with plenty of elbow room for $10. In mid-May on a Friday, I was the only camper and was able to pick the spot with electric and water. Most spots are electric only with centrally located water.
The fairgrounds are clean, and the area is quiet. There is a wonderful local coffee shop just a few blocks away. Would stay again.

We stayed here 1 night passing thru the area. Had an electric only site (only saw 1 other site with water that was taken). Relatively flat site in a nice grassy/tree area. Quiet night. There was a train that went thru this morning - loud! GPS brought us down a road with an RV park that is across the street so took us a minute to find the right spot. Look for the kids playground; the entrance is right down from there. The sites with power have a telephone pole. Nice kids playground to get energy out before we continued on our journey.

Great little city park. $10 please pay some did not! One large grassy area to left as soon as you pull in with E/W two more E only spots then three E only spots on opposite end of park. Nice little town. Police presence. Hwy 50 Hamburger Joint is awesome! Try the shakes! Nice small grocery store with big selection and nice people. You can use dumpster at ag building. Downside train 3 times in five days. Laundromat in town is worse than I’ve ever seen! Except for the train they roll up sidewalks at nine you won’t hear a peep!

I was the only one here. It's quiet, and the people of the town are very friendly. It took me a minute to realize the campsites were on the grass, but once I did, I picked a shady spot under a tree with electric and water.

You can’t beat $10 for an overnight stay, with electric. There is water but, not at each site. We were the only ones here. It’s great for a quick overnight.
