Love's RV Stop-Sweetwater TX 475

We were passing through and needed a place to rest our heads for the night. You have to reserve a spot online beforehand. It cost $60 a night. It’s a gated property. It’s right next to a loves truck stop. Everything there is new and the spots are level and they are concrete. However! It is right next to a train track and the train is pretty loud. It kept me up half the night. I probably wouldn’t stay here again only because of the train noise. Pets are welcome and Wi-Fi is provided.

This is my first stay at a Loves RV Spot. I found the reservation system online easy to us. Once your reservation is confirmed, you get a gate access code and check-in link. After you arrive, you use the check-in link to complete your reservation. It is very easy to use.

The park itself is new and very clean. Our site did not have a picnic table, but we didn't need one. Everything is paved with level concrete pads, and there is plenty of room to maneuver when backing in. The full hookups are well placed. I loved all the rich green grass.

You may ask, "Why did I only give it 4 stars when it sounds like a 5 star place?" Noise. Yes, there is a train, but it's not as loud as other places I've stayed. It is right off the interstate so you get that noise. All in all, it's a great place for an overnight and I would stay again.

Probably my last time to stay at a Love's RV campground. This park probably had about 50 sites with most here for more than 1 night. Nice level pads but not wide enough to walk around the RV and stay on pavement (about 1 foot on either side of RV). There had been a LOT of rain in the area and it was a challenge to avoid stepping on soggy ground. No poop bag dispenser at the dog park. Nice to have full hookups although we only used water & electric. Yes, there was a train track very close but we were prepared for that. Again, will not return here again but *may* check out other Love's locations.
