The road in to the campsites is one of the nicest I've seen, mostly paved with a couple of potholes. Very wooded area with a wonderful picnic area set off with 8 or so picnic tables spaced around the grove. No one at all here. I thought, from reading about this site, that my 28' 5th wheel would not fit. It's a wide open circle aro a small group of trees; both shaded and sunny, I don't see any clearly marked sites. Very clean, see the forest service frequently. I plan to spend 5 days or so. I'll update if it changed

We loved this site. While there are mainly walk in sites we found a place to park our camper van that was level. Non flush outhouse toilet. No water. We picked up trash left by previous campers at an adjacent campsite so took points off for cleanliness. Got a good nights sleep before hitting the hiking trails. Would stay here again

Great find! Clean restrooms best of all we are the only ones here. Quiet and peaceful with a creek nearby.

First time. Sites are few, and not labeled, but free. We got great spot close to creek and 2 pit toilets/picnic area. We have a tundra and 21' trailer. Maybe 3 spots that has easy turnaround for small trailers.
Ground not level, so be prepared
Areas somewhat clean, bits of trash here and there, we picked up some to carry out with us.
Only saw a few small trucks pass on our road during week. 4 workers, and 2 overnight visitors.
Can see the aftermath of last year's dixie fire, most trees are dead, but some sparse areas of living gree conifers.
Willard creek was flowing. lots of bear, racoon tracks by creek
Drove and explored fire roads i to back country, saw 2 black bear 10+ miles from .camp
picnic area had a large garbage can was overflowing and animals pulled some trash across area.
PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU!! NO PICK UP SERVICE.
This land is also used for gatherings and ceremonies by the local native American Indian tribes, so have respect and clean your camp and picnic areas
