Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 06, 2021Small campground 6 miles outside Sumpter, along the McCully Fork River. Just off the highway, but even on Labor Day, quiet. 7 sites in the fee area are roomy, and lots of dispersed camping on up the road. Sites are close together, but it didn't deter from a peaceful experience. Easy access to Sumpter Dredge S.P. and Elkorn Scenic Drive/trails. We went to explore area and attend In a Landscape concert (https://www.inalandscape.org/). Recommend hike to Crawfish Lake. Excellent AT&T service in Sumpter, but none at campground. Will definitely be returning.
