Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 20, 2022The hosts are friendly and helpful. The sites are pull-through on concrete and almost level. We were there for a rally in mid-September. The bathrooms/laundry facilities are clean and comfortable. The grounds are clean and paved with gravel. The rally rented the Pavillion for meals and social activities. It accommodated about 100 guests. Check with the management to see if your event could be held here. We really don't have negatives except that we were positioned in the farthest site. When in a rally, we would like to be grouped with our members. Fortunately, we were able to walk very well.

Visited during a non-rally time, and while the town wasn't really our cup of tea, the campground was terrific. Level site, quiet enough for a good sleep, and convenient for day trips to some of the major sights.
Staff were extremely helpful when we needed to stay an extra night and get a mobile RV technician.
Starlink worked great here. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here about 3 weeks before Bike Week, The office folks were super nice, the park is mostly gravel and level, a few have pads. Huge lower area, and a view of the town in the upper spots. Newer clean bath and shower facilities.
Everything you need is within walking distance. Grocery, Bars, Shops etc
Not the most scenic, but that's not why you park here, it's location, location, location.
Would stay here again.

the location is awesome, close to town and easy access to I-90, the camp ground is awesome, showers, laundry room and bathroom was always clean and neat. cant remember the TWO ladies names that work the front office, the lady that checked me in was real nice and bent over backwards to help us out. the other lady (lead lady lol) she was awesome to. anything we asked she was right there to help out. 3 days a week she run a exercise class. my wife loved that. also every Sunday they put on a free dinner. bring a dish to pass thing. that was awesome. talking to other campers etc. just loved the place. other then bike week where all campgrounds ripe you off by charging like $550 a week. this camp ground when not bike week. is like 190 a week and everything is great. o yea and the internet is strong, they lost power for a few hours one nite and that messed up the internet. it took like 4-5 days to get it fixed, didn't like that but other then that. its an awesome campground and the 2 ladies are awesome. o and there is plenty of room between rigs. we at one time had hugh class a's on both sides of us and still we had plenty of room

We stayed here a week and toured Deadwood, Spearfish and Black Hills Forest. This park is convenient to all these areas. The lower level is all gravel and most with concrete pads. Staff is awesome! Wi-fi is probably the best we have seen in ANY park! There is a very nice grassy area that is good for walking pets that don't like doing their business on gravel!

I got a cheaper rate because water line broken at site which I wouldn’t have used or needed. Very clean and well maintained facility. Nice showers and laundry facilities. Super convenient to town, you can walk or bicycle there easily, maybe 4 blocks away. All the ladies that worked there were super nice, friendly and helpful. The location is a super base for exploring surrounding area and day trips. Also good WiFi .

Paid for two days. Decided to stay one day. Went to office for refund. They told me, their policy was no refunds. Didn’t see anything on their website & brochure about policy. Greedy!

This is one of the most well-equipped parks I’ve seen. The park has everything: pull-through sites, cabins, tent sites; bath/laundry rooms and shower facilities; small convenience/souvenir store; ice; propane; great cell service; good WiFi; centrally located.
Unfortunately, it’s located directly behind the city garbage truck parking lot, so the flies travel in swarms. Additionally, the pull-through sites are a bit narrow. (However, considering the unique nature of Sturgis and the necessity to maximize the earning potential of Sturgis week, I completely understand the need to have as many spaces as possible.)
We stayed there the week after Sturgis so there were a few areas that needed attention (one of the 3 dryers in the ladies side was out-of-order but there hadn’t yet been time to get it fixed; the showers needed a thorough cleaning; the staff was a bit exhausted). But considering our timing, the place was in surprisingly good shape. If it weren’t for the flies, I’d give it a higher rating.

When we made our reservations (2 spots) we were unsure if we wanted to stay 1 week or 2 and mentioned that when booking and they had the availability to block it off for us just in case. After 2 days we decided we wanted to stay the extra week. Long story short, we then decided to make it a month instead to take advantage of the monthly rate and explore the area more. They have been so accommodating. The grounds are very clean and well kept. They allow you to have packages delivered which is so nice. So much to do within walking distance whether your looking for a decent meal, night out at the bar, or park down the street for the kids. Great location, but the best part is truly the exceptional customer service.

This was our Sturgis Rally ‘bucket’ trip. Loved the park! Walkable distance to downtown. However, a couple of the staff members were downright rude. Of course it was rally time, but inexcusable IMO, regardless.
Checked out Wall Drugstore, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and much more. All MUST SEE, while your here.
If you have a toy hauler and ride, there’s a lot of great rides, like the Needle Hwy.
