This park is relatively new. Trees are slowly maturing. All sites are pull thru FHU. Very quiet and far enough back from the highway that there was no highway noise. Camp hosts were very friendly.

Only downside was there was no Verizon signal even with my booster turned on. If you have a yogi directional antenna that might help but YMMV.

This campground is west of town. It is basically a series of 20 or so pull through FHU sites nestled between the road and a very large hill. Between each site are quaking Aspen trees.

The managers are very nice. We called ahead and told them we were have RV mechanical issues. They had no problem taking our name and phone number and holding a spot for us. FYI...there is no campground office, you check in with the managers at site number 1. They gave us a copy of the local magazine with all the local sights highlighted. Once checked in, you pick the empty spot that you want.

There are two bathroom buildings. On the ladies side, each has a single washer and dryer. There is no charge to do laundry, but they do ask for a donation. That seems fair. We did not use the showers, but I did spot a coin machine next to the shower that said "5 minutes for 50 cents."

I was able to get 2 bars of Verizon...talk only. I found if I moved closer to the east end of the campground or closer to the road I might get 2 bars of 3G. I even tried both my cell booster and my external antenna on my Jetpack. The cell booster had no effect. The antenna would occasionally get me some data, but drop out too frequently to make it useful. Fortunately, the WiFi at the park worked pretty well. The speeds weren't blazing and you won't be watching streaming TV, but it was usable.

I was able to pick up one channel of OTA television, PBS.

If we were to return, I would probably try to stay at the KOA first due to the Verizon issue. But if the KOA was full (like it was the weekend we were in town), I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Quiet, large pull throughs, tho the utilities are all to the very rear so you need extensions to your hoses and cords if you want to keep your tow connected. Three resident Mule deer add to the ambience, but otherwise the view is obstructed by what appears to be a very large berm and you get little view of the surrounding majesty. Adjacent land is all posted private property so you can’t really explore. Showers are large, but pay - 50 cents for 5 minutes. WiFi is slow - satellite. Verizon coverage is very spotty. Not a place to stay if you need a reliable cell connection for work, etc. Short drive to town, but not within walking or easy biking distance as connecting road is busy with large trucks. Sites are well back from the road so there is minimal road noise. Very pleasant hosts.

We arrived late but the campground managers were very helpful. You get to pick your own site. Each site will accommodate a 60’ rig with plenty of room on both sides. There are smaller aspen trees between the sites that will be nice for shade when they get larger. Wifi was good and we had 4 bars ATT. It is close to the highway and train. We have a hybred and did not find the noise disruptive. I don’t recall hearing a train after 10:00 but horns were blaring at 7:00 AM. Steamboat Springs is roughly 5 miles from the campground. Even with the price, I will definately stay here again. If driving in from the East, you pass the KOA. They looked like packed sardines in there. Eagle Soaring RV Park is much roomier.

A little expensive for us, but all sites are pull through and have full hook ups. We're new to this but it's easy as can be here! Depending on where your hook ups are, you might need the longest hoses you can get, or we're just not together and somehow bought the shortest fresh water hose possible (22 ft). They're not kidding about driving slow through here, either... drive SLOW.

Hosts are nice, mixed campers in age (people with kids, older couples, some middle aged wanderers), seems like some are long term, dog friendly (on leash), though the brochure says there is acreage to explore we've found that there really isn't, close enough to town to go in and enjoy, far enough out that on a clear night you can see a hint of the Milky Way! There is quite a bit of road noise that never stops, FYI.

Not an option, but Google Fi has 4 bars LTE here.

We were not planning on staying in Steamboat Springs, but a June rain storm dropped snow at the pass and the campground we were planning on staying near Grand Lake. We decided not to push it. The KOA was a bit too crowded and busy for us so we ended up here. The Manager is soooo nice. The sites are level, full hook ups which seen luxurious after boondocking. Hopped to town for sandwiches with the family. The kids are loving biking around the loop. So glad we stayed.

The bathrooms are closed but I hear there are washers and dryers in them.

It was Covid season so none of the ‘amenities’ (showers laundry) were available. $50 for this place is too much to pay. If I had to do it again, I probably wouldn’t have stayed there for $30. It’s only saving grace was its proximity to Steamboat. Sites are stacked on top of each other. Our site had garbage, cigarette butts and dog waste ready for us when we pulled in! The water hookups are pretty far back so make sure you have a long hose. Sites aren’t assigned, you just pick whatever is open. WiFi is terrible unless you are right across from one of the two antennas. Poorly maintained

We camped here 9/3/20- 9/7/20. Easy access to SteamboatSprings. Sites are close together. Bathrooms still closed due to covid. Campground have FHU, wifi, and trash service. We left a day early due to snow coming into the area.

Hands down one of the best run campgrounds I have stayed at during a cross country trip. They took care of us same day. Dog friendly. Best bargain and hospitality I’ve experienced all around. The management team which are on site full time and are extremely courteous, run a beautiful and well kept campground. I would only wished all private run campgrounds were like Eagle Soaring RV Park. Keep up the great work. I would definitely stay here again.

Positives:
-Camp hosts are super nice
-Clean restroom/shower facilities
-A couple community fire pits
-Beautiful scenery
-Quiet
-Full hookups
-All large pull through sites to accommodate any size rig, fairly level
-Pretty aspen trees in between sites help with shade
-Within a couple miles from downtown
-WiFi decent at 6-7 mbps
Negatives:
-Pricey but a flat $50 and not a terrible price considering the area
-Road noise not bad but there
-As long as 5mph speed limit followed the dust isn’t bad, but sites and road could use some fresh gravel
-No picnic table or fire ring at any site
-only 2 washer/dryer units (one inside each restroom/shower room)

If in the area again, we’d happily stay here. We prefer boondocking but we didn’t find anything convenient near Steamboat Springs considering you’d need to climb Rabbit Ears Pass with your rig which is quite a steep climb. If you have the horsepower and tenacity to take that leap, do so! It’s beautiful up there. But, overall this place was a great option.
