They know and understand the needs of camping in an RV, so the park was just great. Because it is so new, the office hours are of an evening. We made our reservation on the phone and they let us know our site number. We parked and got set up. I went to the store once I saw the "open" sign to get the wifi code and info for local hikes. The new camp store had basic things one might need and we were given info about hiking as well as where to sight see.
We dealt mainly via the phone and email. The receipt didn't have their phone number or address, so when we were trying to actually find them, I had misplaced the info but pulled up the email. I did tell them about it, so hopefully the receipts they email will have this info. Finding them was just a bit tricky, but once I found the phone number (off their website), they guided us in without a problem. I did also recommend they join Passport America to get the word out!
We loved the location and the ease at the drive in and parking. It was close to Natural Bridge, the main park we wanted to see, as well as to Staunton to grocery shop. The Red River Gorge was so amazing!
No negatives to report.

Stopped here on the way south. Very sunny and hot that day and this place is completely exposed with no mature trees (cause it’s fairly new). Simple service center. Looked like the laundry and bathrooms were pretty decent. Pool was nice for the kids. Guys that run the place are not on around on Sundays. But you can still get wood and ice on the honor system. Neighbors raved about nearby hiking and attractions but we didn’t have time on this trip.

March 2020 was our second time staying at 4Guys and we will come back. We normally tent camp but now with a popup the full hook up is really nice. Sites are clean, well layed out, gravel with edging. They are a little tight for a tent sided camper but they're fine. The bathrooms/bath house is 7 individual full bathrooms that are clean and well stocked. We have yet to enjoy the pool since we came over Thanksgiving and in March. The playgrounds are OK but the staff is super helpful and friendly. Propane refill is available and they have a well stocked camp store. It is just West of the main exit off of Mountain Parkway and very close to the turn off for Nada tunnel. Only down side is that Mountain Parkway is hearing distance.

We originally chose this RV park because it was the only one open in the area (due to covid). We are fulltime RVers and needed a place to stay while heading through the area. So we were super grateful they stayed open! (On their website even acknowledged some people live in their rigs and need a place to stay... asked everyone to take precautions, etc.).
The location of the park is awesome. It's located in the Red River Gorge area and there is a LOT of hiking and outdoor activity in the area. It is 6 minutes from the famous Nada Tunnel. It's about 5-10 minutes from the Natural Bridge State Park as well.
As for the park itself... it was fine. Our main issue was ZERO shade. I don't think there was shade at any of the sites. I think it is a newer park, so they just don't have mature trees. So it could get a little miserable mid-day in the sun (even in late May). There is also quite a bit of highway noise, which didn't bother us, but might bother some. And some of the sites are pretty close together. We were in Site 16 and definitely thought it was one of the better ones in the park. The one across from it was decently sized too.
They have a pool, but it was not open when we were there due to covid. They have laundry facilities on site as well (also did not use but nice they have them!). Good verizon cell without booster.
Overall, we'd camp there again, but if there were other campgrounds in the area open with more shade and trees (or in a forested setting), we'd probably try one of those first.

Perfect location for hiking the Gorge. They even had a pool even though we did not use it. Bathrooms were super nice and clean. Nice staff and very helpful.
It is right off a road some some noise and so deep into the remote mountains of Daniel Boone National Forest that our Verizon Jetpak could Not connect so you’d have to have something stronger to get reception or satellite TV.

Stayed here Sun-Thur and worked from the RV so needed cell service which was good for Verizon and passable for AT&T. Close access to stores in Slade, RRG access through Nada tunnel, Natural Bridge, and also to get on the DBBB. Hard 1 was only about 10 minutes from this campground.
Booked this site online on my way there. Only thing I'd suggest to improve is to give out the wifi password with the reservation somehow so I could have tried it out. The store was closed a few times I went to go find out. Minor issue though, park was overall great.
Also looks like they are continuing to expand to. A shower house or bathroom or something was under construction while I was there.

This is a nice rv park. They are doing some renovations but nothing that would interfere with your stay. Close to Red River Gorge hiking.

The campground is located in the middle of a forest. THERE ARE NO TREES IN THIS CAMPGROUND! Not one! It is a parking lot! The sites are gravel, gravel, gravel. Outlined in railroad ties and VERY SMALL.
They have a great location. That is the ONLY thing good about this campground. It is located right beside a major freeway. And it is NOISY!!!! The trucks go by all night long. There are no trees, no barriers, NOTHING. You can see the parking lot that they call a campground from the freeway. You can see EVERYTHING from the freeway. No privacy whatsoever.
The pond is scummy, you can’t even see the creek, and did I mention IT’S LOCATED RIGHT BESIDE A MAJOR FREEWAY?
Go to Middle Fork campground, right down the road. Quiet, with trees.
This park is way over rated. It has nothing. The pool is closed, there is one working washing machine. Just book elsewhere unless you don’t need to sleep and you like the sound of a freeway.

Its very close to Kentucky's Red River Gorge, Nada tunnel and other sites. We wish we could have stayed longer. We were in a site that was a little undersized for our 45 foot bus and jeep toad, but we fit and there are sites that are larger, so the park is definitely big rig friendly. The park is well maintained and clean. We were there in the fall, so the pool was closed, but it looked like a very nice pool area. We definitely plan on coming back to this area and will stay again.

Nice park in the middle of everything. Natural Bridge is only 5-6 miles, the gorge driving loop is right here too. Camp pads are not too off level, roads and pads are gravel, so a bit dusty. Pool and laundry are clean and well maintained.
