Small campground with 9 spaces, first-come/first-serve. Requires driving several miles on gravel road to reach campground. Pit toilets, dumpster, water pump. Sites are fairly private, have tables, and many have stream running nearby. One of the main trailheads for the Sawtooth Wilderness is adjacent to campground. A bit pricey for what you get, but staying here makes it easy to get onto the trails before they get busy.

Area A would fit some bigger rigs. Maybe a couple bigger spots in B. Great T-Mobile and so-so Verizon. Our camp had random trash and human feces right on the pretty stream bank. 🫤 Plus the usual bags of dog poo. No cell further up the road. Convenient to town and the trail head but no views. The FS is probably closing it today due to a fire at Alpine Lake. Glad we got to do the hike a couple days ago. Not too much traffic and the strip of trees keeps the dust down.

Marked camping spots with fire rings. Private and quiet with a nice creek running through the campground.
