“dune, waves, sand, and wind”
Dunes, waves, sand and wind, are the primary environmental factors present here. The view of the lake is spectacular. Water birds in the area are fun to watch. In the early morning watch the lake for ducks, like the common merganser and hooded merganser. Shore birds, like the spotted sandpiper, go running up and down the beaches.
