Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 14, 2023This was my second week-long stay (site F4), the first being in July 2021 (site G8). Since the first stay, the resort has nearly doubled in size with the addition of a swimming pool and Pickle Ball courts and everything is being maintained in an immaculate state. Decent spacing between sites, and the sites are truly big-rig friendly. All asphalt roads and pads with desert gravel in between and more trees and shrubbery being planted all the time.
Not a lot of shade yet, so you get direct sunlight in the summertime. Be prepared! This is a small price to pay for the fantastic location, which is currently quite remote but the area is developing rapidly. The only downsides are nearby Highway 7 to the south and the small regional airport to the northeast, but the flights and heavy traffic don't typically run late into the night and begin at around 7 am. Not a big deal for us.
They also offer RV storage to guests of the resort, so we left ours behind and will return for it in the Spring. There doesn't appear to be any long-term residents, though monthly rates are available. Park WiFi was actually decent both times, but there are definitely better times to use it than others.
We will be frequent visitors of Desert Canyons RV Resort!

We arrived late, but that wasn't a problem because they had texted me all of the necessary information. Reservations were easy to make. Once we arrived; Wow! Incredible! Pool, hot tub, individual rest rooms with showers, laundry... Everyone is pleasant and friendly. Clean, well maintained. Full bars, 5G, for T-mobile. Site C8.

Very nice new campground. The adjourning area has bike and hiking paths all maintained by the park owner. Nice sites. By the airport but limited commercial traffic. Private plane traffic during the day but quiet at night. Road traffic during the day but quiet at night. Nice people. They charge $2 per dog per day which we do not appreciate. With the dog charge and taxes it was $71 per night.

The photos don't do it justice. It's surrounded by cliffs and the scenery is stunning. While it's not secluded, there's nothing immediately adjacent, so you don't have any background noise. The spaces are large and well maintained. It looks like they're cleaned after each use. Also has a great dog park and some other amenities I didn't get a chance to use. I will definitely be back, but for a longer stay.

Fairly new campground. Nice and clean, large sites, everything is nicely laid out and the views are great. Didn't use the amenities so can't comment. Very close to freeway and a busy local airport. The noise from those didn't bother us but if you're sensitive to stuff like that, it might be an issue for you. All in all nice place and would stay there again

This RV park is relatively new and is very nice for a desert setting. The internal roads and individual sites are paved and the owners have taken the time and expense to plant a nice line of shrubs between each space adding a feeling of privacy. The park is clean and for now gives you a feeling of being in the desert. The reason for this comment is that this area is growing so fast that this area will eventually be overtaken by the city. All of the amenities are new, clean and convenient. Each space is also nicely distanced from the others nearby. My only concern or negative is the WiFi. The service was weak and evidently not sized appropriately for the size of this park. Overall, we would recommend this park.

We really enjoyed this RV park. It was away from the city away from all the noise. There was a little airport noise from the private airplanes on Saturday morning, but no big deal. But it really was nice for us to be able to just kind of chill out and relax and not have a care in the world.
