Nice sites right along the creek, but those are also next to the road, which stays fairly busy on the weekends. There is no running water in the campground and only vault toilets, but plenty of firewood around for the taking.

Cherry Campground is a lovely campground nestled between a mountain and Hobble Creek. It's shady and peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The campground hosts gave us pointers about the mountain roads, were friendly, and we felt welcome. I would camp there again.

Nice campground, sites fairly close together. Easily navigated in and out with a 23' trailer. Turn-around at the bottom is a little tight, but quite doable. No cell service (Verizon) at the campground, but enough for a phone call if you head 10 minutes back toward town. For a fun day trip excursion you can go the back roads and cross over the ridge to FR-029 (Diamond Fork Rd) and visit Fifth Water Hot Springs (aka Diamond Fork Hot Springs). Directions: continue up FR-058 (Right Fork Hobble Creek Rd). Road becomes a gravel road. Totally passable in the dry season even in a passenger car. Stay on the main gravel road and it eventually turns back into a paved road which is FR-029. Park at the Fifth Water Hot Springs trailhead. 2.3 mile hike each way out and back to the hot springs.

I would give it a 5, but my husband says 4. Camp host was nowhere to be found and no payment envelopes available. Trees could be trimmed a little more to accommodate bigger RVs. Spot was clean, picnic tables were clean, right next to the river. Beautiful!
