Under new management and they are not putting up with all the bull that they have in the past. Pertaining to people being trashy or homeless people staying here for long periods and I for one am happy about that. Bathhouse and bathrooms with hot and cold showers. No dump station or water source to fill your RV water tanks yet but heard they were in the plans. Picnic tables at every site. Sites are not level but manageable. Heard they were going to start charging a minimal fee and I am glad maybe it will keep out the bad apples who were keeping the place a mess. They also have concrete boat launch. Thank you Rhea county for trying to make the place better.

This was my first time here. I was nervous going to a no reservations place. But I got there early enough to get a spot. Next time I go I would go earlier. I got a beautiful lakeside spot with amazing sunset views. but far from the bathhouse. Given the price I can't really complain. I made a video review also I will try to link otherwise I am Smilingme on the you tube

Drove all the way there and even though the site says open year round, depending on weather. Well it’s closed for the winter until spring time. Looks nice though and just take it easy on the road there since it’s not really big

Was a wonder full place with a table, trash can, and fire place. Nature was buzzing last night but other than that there was no noise. Loved and would highly recommend people stay here.

I needed a place to stay near The Lost Sea so I decided to stay here ( 40 minutes away). I was blown away by how amazing this campground was. BEAUTIFUL scenery and very active. Even on a Monday it was probably at least 60% full. The ranger said they plan on charging soon. So be prepared for that, he didn’t know when just said “ Soon”. It was a bit noisy, definitely a spot where the locals go to get away and enjoy the water. Water was warm, great swim! Restrooms were available and a fire pit at each site.

Lots of tent sites, but few level ones for rvs. Watch out for faded yellow lines/markers that designate no parking areas within some sites.

Great mostly quiet campground. No loud radios or people. No level sights. I we saw the sheriff drive through three times, maintenance man every day picking up garbage & cleaning bathrooms. Main negative was dogs barking.

Can't believe this is free, bathhouse, picnic tables and fire ring. Gorgeous views. However we have a 36' TT and hard to maneuver, can be done but our spot was impossible to level. Arrive early and get a good level site. We'd totally go back but maybe with smaller rig. But there was a class A, a converted school bus and some other large RVs but only a couple spots they fit. Cell service was decent.
