Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on June 04, 2023This is a designated USFS dispersed campsite with no amenities. Far enough off the main highway to reduce the noise and very easy access for any size rig. It is large area that could accommodate 20-30 rigs. The views are nice and it is a great stopover spot or basecamp for exploring the Uinta NF.

Easy to access from highway. Big open field clearly marked Sheep creek campground. It had rained so we had to stay close to the entrance road and had some trouble getting, level.

We got here later in the day on a Friday - only 1 other RVer was here. Super easy to get too. Straight up the hill to the left. It's basically a big field with a bunch of spots to choose from. We have a 42ft TH and we had plenty of room! Sites were level and there are fire pits at most of them. There are no hookups or amenities (no dumpster either). The views are incredible every direction you look. We stayed for 8 days but there is a 14 day stay limit. There isn't much road noise that we could hear. The only negative thing that I can think of (if you want to call it a negative) is the wind. Your located on a hill so there is lots of wind in the afternoon! Keep an eye on your awnings! LOL The breeze was nice though...
Cell signal is GREAT!!! AT&T was between 37-70 down/30 up. Verizon was 20-25 down/ 5-10 up.
Spanish Fork, UT is pretty close - about 20 minute drive to everything you'd need.
Side note* there will be free roaming cattle that come visit you and you will hear mooing at night... some nights! LOL
Overall, we REALLY enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

Right off highway 6 on a paved road.
Just a huge lot. There were at least 20 vehicles, many large RVs.
No shade, no privacy, but it was quiet.
Really windy at night.
Watch out for cow pies.

Really nice road to get in and feels like an RV park. Fenced. Kind of quiet but everyone is very close together. Beautiful area and atv trails.
Shit internet. I hardly got verizon cell reception and it was 3g. ATT and Verizon jetpacks were 1 bar and slooowwwwwww - don't work remotely here unless you have a weboost drive reach or some other serious booster.

This is a great boondocking spot. Easy access for big rigs and lots of space. Depending on where you park AT&T was very fast and worked great. Verizon was weaker, but still very usable. Don't park in the low areas if you need a usable Verizon signal. We parked on the southeast corner and had no problems staying connected and working.
