The park was easy to find. It is located about five miles from down town Wakefield. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are a mix of pavement. gravel and dirt and for the most part in good condition.
Our site, 14, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is close for a rural park. There are a lot of seasonal sites here but none looked trashy. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was neat, tidy and well cared for.
There is park included wifi but it was very poor. We could not even check email on it. Our Verizon hot spot worked well. We did find some OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult in the treed areas. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $60.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
