Staff very cordial upon checking and provide guided assistance in parking your rig. Bathhouse centrally located very clean showers and toilets. Stayed late in the season so park was only 40% occupied. Hook ups were well positioned as modern. Nice book exchange, DVD rental, and clean laundry. Great place to base-camp to watch fall foliage and make higher elevation day trips to Creede and Lake City. While we did not go into the other campgrounds here, this one is well off the highway, (no noise)… this one seemed the nicest in the area

WE LOVE this place!!! Suzette and David are lovely and kind. They have only had this place a couple of years, and are working their tails off to make it better and better. I have never felt so welcomed in my life at any other campground. At the time of this review, we paid the monthly rate of $400 which was the most economical way to go. We plan on returning again next year as this area is the perfect jumping-off location. There is soooooo much to do and see around here! The summer weather is awesome and the nights are cool and comfortable. This is not a "fancy" resort...it is a home away from home.

Beautiful site with the Rio Grand River approximately 30 ft behind our rig. Trees surroundings us. Nice people to deal with. Wish we had more time to stay but excited to return. Very peaceful campground, animal friendly, full hook ups and wi-fi.

We arrived at the campground after South Fork had experienced an early winter storm. There were many branches in the floor. Yet, the staff was working hard at getting everything cleaned up. Otherwise, the park was very well maintained and cleaned. The managers are very friendly. You really can’t beat the amazing location right in the Rio Grande River. We loved the fishing.

Sites fairly close together, under a cottonwood grove. About 100 yards of riverfront. Deer wander through. New frost free water. New service, 50 or 30 amp. We had cell service, but I wouldn't call it four bars. The WiFi wasn't great IMO. The laundry room was spotless. $2 for wash, $2 for dry. The dryer is nearly an hour, so they will get dry. The onsite propane is very reasonable and convenient. Terry and Rich were very nice and helpful. Only self contained RVs now, no shower house. The highway is busy, so you will hear it if you are near the office. $2/day RV storage, which we used while we were on a raft trip in Utah.
