Have stayed several times at the Caverns of Sonora, but it is at least 7 miles off the freeway and their hookups are somewhat inconsistent, plus it was spring break week, so could be busy.
We decided to give this place a try. It is in a quiet area of the town of Sonora and we were able to locate it just fine with our GPS. Mike, the owner, helped us choose a suitable site, hookups were new, including 50 amp and sewer, nothing scenic about the place, but quiet and seemed safe. Good for an overnight stop.

Stayed overnight in early April passing through to west Texas. We had 50 amp, FHU service. All worked well. Cash or check accepted. Friendly and professional.

Easy approach from the highway. Roomy sites. Mike, the owner, asked us to call an hour or so before we arrived. He gave us directions and met us at the site. Mike also checked on us about an hour after we arrived and the next morning.

Quiet area. Convenient to groceries, etc. Good VZ signal. No WiFi.

We called when we were already in town (we thought we would make it farther west but decided to end our day in Sonora). Mike met us near the entrance and helped us to our spot (easy pull up - didn't have to back in) and even helped us hook up! Super friendly and easy stay. We stayed in an end spot with full hook ups that really only works for smaller rigs (our TT is 20 feet) which worked out well because the other 3 spots in this area were already occupied.

Things to know:

This appears to be a majority mobile home/stationary park.
Cash only (Mike had change and refused our suggestion to just keep all $25)
This isn't a fancy park and has no amenities. But works great for one night stay.
We didn't see signs at entrance. Mike met us near entrance so we knew we were in the right spot.
There's a brand new Love's at the east end of town.

This is basically a mobile home park with a few overnite spaces for RVs. We have a 40 ft MH towing a pickup truck. We were able to pull in and not unhook the toad. The site was very level. I did laundry and didn’t feel the MH move when the washer was spinning. Water pressure was good. Cell service was good. Mike, the owner/operator, guided us in to our spot from the time we got off I-10. Be sure to call him if you have a big rig, as GPS will take you down a less desirable street. He was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice overnight stop between San Antonio and El Paso. Mike the park owner is very nice and helpful. They have a couple parallel pull through sites easily accessible for big rigs towing.

Just needed a stop for the night on our way to San Antonio. Took previous reviews into account and called Mike. Couldn’t find a nicer, more helpful guy. We could’ve stay at the waysides, but with the heat we elected to get the FHU. Just can’t beat it for $22. (Mike does prefer cash, no CC). The open lot was back in the town. Mike will lead you there, so be sure to call him. We were the only ones there in a Saturday night. It was quiet and I could walk my dog off leash. He had a dumpster right there and all the utilities were up to date. Verizon was great to stream all we wanted with our jet pack. We have a 36’ Class A with a tow. Some narrow streets and speed bumps, but Mike lead us through just fine. For a good nights sleep, I highly recommend!! 👍

Great for an overnight stay. Mike, the owner, was awesome! Met us at the entrance and took us to our spot. Even helped hook up. Couldn’t ask for a nicer experience.

Our truck broke down while pulling our 5th wheel on I-10 near Sonora on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the truck was going to need to be towed 65 miles away (San Angelo) for repair. We found this place and can not say enough on how helpful Mike (owner) was in helping us out. The overnight sites are in the back of a mobile home park and Mike has about 12, full hook-up sites in an open, gravel lot. He met us in front of the mobile home park and helped us find the sites. He even helped us with hooking up. There are no amenities, but for a quick overnight, the place is perfect......and Mike is one of the most helpful owners we’ve met.
