Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 14, 2023I’ve stayed here twice when I traveled to this area and wanted wi-fi for internet and wi-fi calling, laundry facilities and a shower. Mike and Kim are the owners and are very welcoming and committed to providing a good camping facility. I have never used their hookups but have filled my water tanks when needed. Dry camping is $25 per night and spots with electricity and water are $35 per night. The dry camping spots are a bit more private. They have animals on the ranch and horse corrals for visitors who bring horses to ride in the area. The ranch is about 10 minutes from Sonoita, and around 25 minutes from Patagonia. This area is becoming a gravel cycling destination and the Arizona Trail is accessible at various places in the area. This is also wine country with many wineries easily accessible from the ranch. There are also dispersed camping opportunities near the ranch on the road to Kentucky Camp if you want to spend a night or two at the ranch to fill with water, do laundry, etc., and then enjoy some free camping. This is also a Harvest Host so you can camp for a night with no charge, but you can’t use any of the facilities if you choose that option. Since I last visited, they installed a Starlink internet system which provides great coverage and fast download speeds.

The road in is a little washboarded and bumpy but passable in a 40'+ motorhome. Do disconnect your toad before getting near the gate as there is a tight S turn just afterwards.
The ranch is a fairly quiet little campground with about 10-12 sites that have electric (30A / 15A) + water. Some have sewer. They also have dry camping spots and a separate dump station by the main clubhouse with fresh water. There are laundry machines in the clubhouse for guest use. There is a little store with fresh eggs, honey and other items available.
Very nice hard working staff tending the ranch and ensuring guest satisfaction. Cell coverage is poor but there is ok free wifi on site.

My wife and I stayed here for a night through Harvest Hosts and then paid $35/night to stay longer on hookups. The ranch had both boondock sites and water/electrical sites. Being at 5000 ft. was a welcome delight from the Phoenix heat. There are animals a plenty and hiking trails around. Lots of places to explore around the area. We are here to see the hummingbirds in the area.
The hosts here are wonderful. The main lodge is a welcome respite with a full kitchen also. The road here is dirt with some washboards at the beginning but then evens out. We bought some local honey from their gift shop/ trailer.

Needed a place to stay for the month of June and didn’t want to be in the heat and rush of Tucson. This campground was the perfect answer. Nicely spread out, quiet, a cooler elevation, and if your dogs can get along with other dogs there is no leash law.
It’s a beautiful area and the owners and hosts are very accommodating. This was a great choice and we would highly recommend it for long or short term.
