Camp sites are very spread out and primitive in nature but with nice fire rings. Firewood is a viable for purchase along the road and you can find down branches easily. It is tent camping only. There are ballards blocking you from pulling into the camp sites past the small parking area. No one came around or bothered us and there was no place to check in. Reservations must be done online. There is lots of road/ plane noise but it wasn’t bad. We plan to go back. If you are taking a truck tent make sure you get a site that is close to the parking area.

Big primitive site. Road was in good condition. Not well marked to the individual campsites, had to stop by office to see a map and orient myself. Two nice picnic tables, fire ring, it’s a bit low if it’s wet. Makes for a muddy situation. I set up off to the side to try and stay out of the mud. A big gravel pad would go a long way at this site. I was able to survive the 4 large murder hornets I saw, disaster averted. There are a couple trains that come screaming through the area at night, some traffic noise in the distance. It’s not the worst.
