We drove into Kansas City a few times which is about 40 minutes away. Next to a large lake with fishing allowed. We would have spent more time outside if it wasn’t so hot and if there wasn’t so many bugs.
The laundry room is small and hot but clean.
We would choose a different site with shade next time.

Pros
Nice clean area, very clean bathhouse, full hookup, close to small town with a surprising number of choices to eat, sites fairly spaced out.
Cons
Basically the sites on the perimeter are the best due to more shade available, you are below the dam so you can’t see lake, but the largest issue was a sewer odor that seemed to emanate from a ditch that ran through the park. Wasn’t unbearable but made it unpleasant to sit outside when the wind shifted the odor toward us.

Ours was a pretty level gravel pull-through site with full hook-ups, including 50amp service. Easy to get around to our site on the paved drive, although we did have to watch for some pretty large potholes. There is plenty of room between sites, so we didn’t feel wedged in. Close to Smithville with options for restaurants, groceries, fuel, and other needs. Looks like a nice park for walks and workouts, although it was cold and rainy while we were here. Verizon service was adequate for phones, but usually less than 1Mbps data speeds. T-Mobile data speeds fluctuated anywhere between 3 and 25Mbps.
