The one-way road into the sites is narrow and getting backed in will take some patience and the right angle for some. You may need extra hose, possibly more than 50', as some of the water spigots are often on the opposite side of the site than your city water connection on your trailer. Sites back up to a stream which was nice, with mature trees and hills. But our experience was marred by some of the younger tent campers across the stream that played their music loudly out of the back of their vehicle and had zero CG etiquette using loud voices to talk over their music so they could hear each other. Another tent group came in after quiet hours next to our trailer and acted as if they were setting up at noontime. The further down you go past sites 30 the better.. a completely different experience with peace and quiet.
Any trailer over 20' isn't going to make the turn across the brook to the single dump station due to the angle and narrowness, we had to go down to the park gate and do a 180 turn and come back to get to it. Once you've done Natural Bridge, the trails right off the campground are fantastic. A drive into Daniel Boone Forest will yield even more trail opportunities but it's a white knuckle drive with a very narrow road and two way traffic. Get there early during peak season because parking gets limited. I would stay here again but preferably during the middle of the week and only in sites #30 or above. No AT&T cell service at Whittleton.

Trails close to the campground so lots of hiking options nearby. Sites would be challenging in a larger RV. I think most sites backed up to a little creek. Overall nice stay.

Stayed in spot A25 with a 36ft overall length trailer, it was extremely tight to get into and leaving was just as bad. Loved the campground but wouldn’t even think about going back unless I had a 25-30ft trailer MAX. T-Mobile LTE ~1.5mbps. Verizon had no signal inside trailer, spotty outside.
