Hamaker Campground is located along the Upper Rogue River in an old-growth forest and is just a short drive to Crater Lake. Most of the 10 campsites have plenty of shade and can accommodate tents, trailers and smalls RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. The campground is open from May through October (weather permitting). The campground offers access to some great fishing on the Rogue River. It’s also close to the Upper Rogue River Trail. Directions from Prospect: Travel north along Highway 62 to the Highway 230 junction. Continue north on Highway 230 for 12 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 6530. Continue about one half mile and turn right onto Forest Road 900. Continue a half mile along Forest Road 900 to Hamaker Campground.
