Nice spot for a couple nights. Can get crowded and right next to the road. Quite at night.

While we stayed here we enjoyed the river sounds and got to meet several rafters who put-in and took-out here. Great hiking across the highway and lots of other trails within a short drive away. good for over night or longer duration. Also a short 15 minutes drive form Silverthorne/Dillon, Colorado. Don't miss Lilly Pad Lake hike that starts near the Breckenridge highway.

This is a great place to go camping. Best. Part is that they have vaulted toilets with a "toilet'' over it. This was huge for us, as we camp with out 3 y/o daughter. She isn't a huge fan of popping a squat, if you know what I mean.
We camped mid Oct and as a snow storm was hitting the area. We got prob about a foot of snow and our temps dropped to a chilly 7°F. Surprisingly we we're not the only ones there, yet alone not the only tent campers. We took up the 5 spot, and it is only 6 spots really. Except for the last spot that thankfully was never occupied while we were there. The sites were all very well spaced out. Ours and the one right next to us had really well rock pits built by prior campers.
There was several easy ways to get down to the river as well. Locals came each morning, just about, to walk their dogs there.

Beautiful campground with plenty of room to spread out. A lot of boating traffic but other than that it’s a 5/5

Good access to the little Blue River by a bend in the road. Fair amount of road noise, but the elevation of the campsite means you can only see the tops of the 18 wheelers' stacks. Pretty busy river access activity, but no problems with getting in and out. Restrooms on site.

I stopped here for one night on my way across the country. Peaceful and clean. The bathroom is a pit toilet with no running water.

We just stopped for the night on a cross country trip. Easy access, right on the river, pit toilets. Lots of other campers, and even a semi overnighting. Good enough for a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t make it a destination.

Not sure if it’s a timing issue or if it is closed indefinitely.

We stayed here to do some fly fishing June 7-14,2021 on the Blue river. Can walk to river in minutes and there are some good fishing holes. Colorado river, pump house, is only a 40 minute drive.
Used a lot by Silverthorne workers who leave early and come back in the evening to sleep. That didn’t bother us at all.
Maintenance of restrooms was severely lacking. Bring your tp.
No water nor trash services.
