I-10 WB Parking Area

February 10th, 2022: RVer reports Feb 2022 - Yes. Teepees are a cool photo op. They are only on the WB side, the EB shelters are standard. RVer reports Dec 2021 name changed to I-10 WB Picnic Area RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking is allowed, confirming multiple reports from Apr 2011 & earlier, & info provided by TX DOT. State of TX allows parking in rest areas, etc., for up to 24 hours. RVs parking along L curb be sure not to block entrance or exit by cars or small RVs in diagonal spaces. Parking area is level, lighted, with no apparent security issues other than being in an isolated area. Road noise from I-10. Three Tepee picnic shelters.
