“Integrity, tradition and heritage”
A trip to our home in Clermont, Kentucky, is a transforming experience: you'll come as a friend, and leave as family. You’ll see why crafting the finest bourbon is about more than quality ingredients and a meticulous aging process—it's also about values like honestly, integrity, tradition and heritage. Start your visit with a guided Heritage Tour of the historic T. Jeremiah Beam home where three generations of Beam distillers lived overlooking the scenic landscape and towering rack houses. You can then step inside the Stillhouse Exhibit featuring our authentic 1800's copper still, believed to be one of the oldest in America. Closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Sundays in January and February.
The cost is $10
Perhaps the most impressive grounds of the tours I've seen on the bourbon trail. As one of the largest sellers of bourbon in the world, their tour seems to reflect that in having one of the more interactive tours I've been on. Tour guide was very knowledgable and encouraged questions which is always a plus. While I tend to prefer smaller-scale operations, this was a good one to see how larger-scale ops work. Definitely one I would add to the itinerary if you're doing the trail.
Amazing!! Must try the tasting tour!! Get to make a bottle of knob creek put ur thumb print on it and get it engraved all for about $65. Well worth the experience!!
Like fermented grains that taste like burnt wood (or honey, or cinnamon, or maple, or, or, or)? Then this is the place for you!
Tours are $14, usually require reservations, and take 1.5 hours. Or If you're like us, have a grasp of what goes on in a distillery, and are mostly here to see this behemoth of a distillery and get a bit drunk, then do as we did; take the Bourbon 101 tour. This one is walk up only, only costs $10, and takes 30-45 minutes. You still get a quick run through of the smaller side of the place, see and hear some staggering facts (1 million 55 gallon barrels a year?!), and of course get your free samples at the end in a very cool etched shot glass which you get to keep.
Stumbled in here tired, and stumbled out informed and tipsy... Winning!
The food is pretty good even if the menu is a bit limited. My biggest advice would be arrive early or book the tour ahead of time if possible, we arrived around lunch time and the tours were already sold out for the day. Still the grounds are lovely and the early September weather made for a beautiful. Day to stroll around and visit.
Had the best tour guide, Teresa! Fun and educational.
We came here during Derby Weekend and had a blast. They were offering free haircuts for men and hair/makeup for women. We did a bourbon tasting, and walked around the beautiful grounds.
Awesome tour! $12 per person. Enjoyed the tour a lot, informative, fun, and very interesting!
We stopped here on our way through and it was gorgeous! We didn't take and of the tours but they seemed to be well guided and a major hit with those who did. The property was absolutely stunning and nice to explore on a sunny day. There were some great promotional items to purchase inside and the food at their cafe was delicious.
