Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 17, 2022We found ourselves needing a campsite on a hot, summer Saturday night. The campsites are tight and laid out a bit hard to follow but the campground does offer lots of activities from volleyball and horseshoes to a small pool and laundry facilities. There are also cabin tents and camping cabins for those who don't have their own camper. There was great WiFi service.

Very close to the caverns and close enough to Lassen and Mt Shasta so it was a good base camp for day tripping.
The place really needs some TLC with lots of cleaning and repair items to note.
Of all the cleanliness issues, the trash in most of the fire pits was the most disgusting. This is not totally indicative of the owner, but more of the clientele. The place had quite a few “permanent” campers and it had the hunting/fishing camp vibe. The pavilion and other amenities looked like they had not been used since the last group of hunters partied there.
I still give it 3 stars because it was great for what we needed.

Narrow wooded roads 37’TT almost didn’t make it. All full timers that have junk yards…. Felt weird showing up with my 2021 camper and 2019 truck. Our neighbor was a cat hoarder with broken glass from a table all over the place close to our side has I not kept an eye on my kids. Good wildlife viewing and apparently Wi-Fi but I didn’t try it. $27 a night it’ll do.
Water line needed to be ran for a minute to run clear. And septic was covered by grass/moss almost missed it. You get what you pay for here.

Lots of full timers and definitely run down facilities/amenities, however, the camp host was nice, responsive and accommodating. We arrived very late at night during a heavy rain storm and he allowed us to settle into a site and wait for the storm to pass (the next morning) to settle the finances. Not sure I would stay here again unless I absolutely needed to.

Arrived to our site strewn with garbage. I cleaned out the fire pit of beer cans and a Styrofoam cooler. Full time clientele obviously includes tent campers with some pretty raggity setups. Other clientele are sketchy. On the plus side, the wifi works pretty well. Bathrooms were dirty but usable, and there's a pool. Wouldn't stay here twice.

The owner was extremely nice. WiFi was useable. Not much else was pleasant about the stay.
There is a pool, but the bottom was covered in algae. In the owner's defense, he said he was closing up for the season. Mostly full-timers with sketchy rigs. Showers were pretty dirty, but there was hot water.
I think at one time this was a high-end place. But it is definitely not kept up. One dumpster close to the entrance.
I'm mostly a boondocker. The past month I stayed mostly in National Forests for free. It kills me to stay in a paid campground that is not even CLOSE to being as nice as a free place.

Stayed here while travelling along the I-5. Beautiful, clean and conveniently located campground!
Well priced with large campsites for both drive in/tent camping. Nice view of the lake and still open but not busy during the fall season!
We had a wonderful stay at Antlers. Would definitely return!
