Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 16, 2020This campground was being upgraded while we were there. There were work crews building out the electrical and Wi-Fi access. The park was basically empty, and when they turned the Wi-Fi on, it was excellent, with 22 Mbit download speeds.
Entrance to the camping safe area is a little steep, but very manageable. Friendly staff, close to many local outlets, as well as Dollywood.

Very tight spots with gravel. Small concrete area on the side with picnic table. Internet service was very spotty and would go out often. People were friendly enough. Will not stay here again.

It’s only our third RV park, but I I can see why people like to drycamp/boondock. The sites are very tight, quite close together. The neighbor woke me at 2:00am going in and out of his RV just from the door closing. Across the highway is a helicopter tour company and it runs all day long, very noisy. On the positive side, the staff is amazing and so accommodating. We needed help since it was our first back in site. Scott was wonderful!!! He guided us in and got us leveled and ready to enjoy our stay. It had rained heavily the day before so the ground was very soft and one side of our rig kept sinking. He ran off to get a piece of wood that did the job to keep our tires from sinking so we could get level. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We back up to the river which is wonderfully peaceful. I guess there will be pros and cons to every park. The only reason we won’t be back is because we saw what we wanted to see here, and have along bucket list of other places to explore.

More of a full-timers park. Clearly no age or type of RV restrictions. The river view wasn’t anything to be desired. The location is good. Scenic helicopter company right across the street. Expect noise on good weather days.
Cheap laundry! Small kids playground.
A real pet peeve was being unable to find a circuit breaker so I could plug in properly. We didn’t have a picnic table on our spot. Not a big deal for us.
Everyone we spoke to up front was kind and very helpful.
$45/night after whatever fees and things they had was high. They’re definitely piggybacking off nearby, nicer parks and the “location.”
The only reason we stayed here was because it was too late and I was too tired to find a boondocking spot in the hills nearby.

We stayed 3 nights in a 5th Wheel. Sites are nice size with lots of pull through sites. Concrete patios with picnic tables on all sites. Campground was very well maintained and clean. Restrooms and laundry also clean and well maintained. The campground is located just off the main road. The office is easy to spot from the road and the campground itself is located slightly downhill, creating a fairly quit remote feeling. The office personnel and maintenance person were very friendly and accommodating. The WIFI was a little shaky, but okay for simple emails. The location from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was good for this visit. We had a G.S. discount and paid $30+tax/night. We would recommend and absolutely plan to stay on the return trip.
