Please note, four star rating is on the "Casino Scale."
This is a nice, quiet place to park along Hwy 101 near Sequim, though it's still another 5 miles into town. The lot is pretty unlevel, but if you head to the SW corner around the perimeter, it's possible to get level. PLUS, there are electric posts along the perimeter, as well as at the base of some of the light poles. There is no charge for the electric hookup! (Someone said there was water there too, but I didn't look for it.)
Must go into "Cashier Cage" to get authorization, which has to be date-stamped every day, but no gambling commitments required.
The Olympic Trail (bike and walking path) is right across Hwy 101.
This is about as good as casino camping gets. If you follow signs to "RV Parking" you end up in the back edge of the lot where there are 30A receptacles along the edge of the parking lot where bigger rigs can park parallel, and then there are 20A plugs at the interior landscaping islands of the parking lot. When we got there we went inside to check in at the main cashier where they just got some basic info, gave us a pass to put in the window, and told us about the power plugs.
We weren't bothered at all and had a really nice night of being plugged in (very rare for us!). They had $2 blackjack which we managed to win $12 on, which we quickly used to order delivery. Yes, Dominos delivered a pizza to our RV in the parking lot.
We stayed here in early July 2017 and it was a pretty decent boondocking spot.
It's a casino parking lot, so no water or sewer. There is specific RV parking marked off on one side of the parking lot. There are two 30A spots and are on a first-come, first-served basis and are in the RV parking area closest to the casino entrance.
It's free to park there but you have to register at the Cashier's Cage every 24 hours. They say you can have up to 3 days free. After that, you have to check in with them for availability.
Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all had between 2 and 3 LTE signal; however, even though Verizon's signal is strong, the tower did NOT carry much data. We had 3 bars of LTE but our hotspot was unusable for data. Perhaps it's only for calling/texting. We tethered to our T-Mobile phone instead and that worked very well in this location.
The Lot here is pretty sloped, but if you get lucky you might get one of the more level spots for RV parking across the top of the lot where they have 3 free 30 amp hookups. There are some other standard outlets around the lot, but several seemed to be inactive that I tested. The staff were very friendly inside, said it was no problem to unhitch and leave the trailer there during the day, which felt a bit odd, but there were a few others unhitched too. Over a dozen other RVs each night due to the location near Olympic NP. Lot is off 101 with a good patch of trees between so very quiet over night.
This was a great casino to stay at for the night and check out Sequim. Its your basic casino, large parking lot. At the far end of the lot there are 3, 30 amp plugins that are available on a first come basis. It was fairly quiet in the back of the lot even though the casino was bumping the night we were there. No one bothered us to check in or anything like that. There are also good areas to walk dogs if you have pets.
Cell and internet were good. All in all, a nice place to chill and recharge your batteries. Even 3 friendly roosters to wake you up in the morning.
Hey free 30 amp on asphalt...noise level less than the birds.
Check in was easy. This is a great stop on a peninsula tour.
The shrimp shack 2 miles east of here was offering fresh wild shrimp cooked for $7/lb. Yup we got our fill.
Dog rating...Groovy snarffs,,, 6 ft leash.
Casino was nice. They offer 30 amp and 110V on a first come basis Free. You must check in at cashier, simple process. It was quiet the night we stayed. Good place to stop for a night.
Have Walmart straight talk and had service.
Great place to eat and play while waiting for the weekend crowd to leave the campgrounds. Lots of electric outlets to plug into at most light poles. Enough room for two rigs to hook up. There are 15 RV’s currently on site. It’s not 30 amp. You need an adapter. It is enough to run a fridge, a coffee pot and some lights. They have two great restaurants inside with lots of dining options. They also have a pet area in the back. I’d 100% stay hear again.
Great place! Besides the 3-5 30 amp spots they also have several 110 volt outlets which we used for 5 days. Staff friendly. Breaker popped one day but we just went to security and they had maintainer fix it right away 😁 if we ever go back to the peninsula, this is our place to stay. Dumpstation about 5-10 min away and charges $5 for dumping and water to fill up. We have not been but my Canadian parking lot neighbors told us 😉
Can't say much about the casino or the quality of the overnight but I can tell you security is present and the lot isn't very level. We parked, unhooked and then the wife drove over to register at the casino as I drove the parking lot looking for a site. Found one that was level enough and when the wife got back, we walked across the parking lot, maybe 75 yards, to see if we could see any better locations. We returned, went through our leveling routine and then discovered a guy laying in our bed, playing on my wife's iPad, high as a kite.
Security responded and took care of him (he actually also dined and dashed in the casino). After they left, we found pills on our bed so the Sheriff was brought in. Suffice it to say, we headed down the road. Security and one of our neighbors told us that the situation was highly unusual. Probably was. Take this for what it is and decide for yourself. We're not looking to trash the casino but folks ought to know.
