“the best price of anyone in eastern Colorado”
Well established RV Park that is open year round with late office hours and free WiFi. 24 quiet and clean RV spots available. All sites are full hook-up and well over 100 feet long with plenty of room for slide outs and the largest RVs. We have 20, 30, and 50 amp service, bathrooms, and laundry available. Only 1 block away from grocery store, bank, and post office. We are located 4½ blocks from Interstate 70. This is a family owned and operated campground that promises the very best in customer service along with the best price of anyone in eastern Colorado.

Small campground. Some of the sites really are shady with mature trimmed trees. Full hookups although the sewer is flush to the ground and you may have to look for the cap. New owners are super helpful and pleasant. They are actively upgrading the campground. WIFI is the best I have had at a campground. Be careful with T-Mobile, even though there is good T-Mo service I ended up using all my roaming data. It must have connected to a partner tower. I would certainly stay again.

DATE OF VISIT = Sept. 2020...price does not reflect the Good Sam discount that we were refunded...wash & dry each $2 (one washer did not spin at all; probably fixed by now?)...free WiFi was pretty good...nothing to do in the area but walk...small grocery store at the end of the main drag, we peeked in the windows when it was closed, but it looked like a good small-town market that would have all the necessities...adjacent to noisy highway...with full hookups, we did not use the restrooms/showers, but they appeared to be clean...owners were very nice!

Pleasant one night here under a big shade tree. Little noise even though near the busy freeway. Sites are gravel but plenty of grass and fairly level. Owner was very nice. When I asked if there was somewhere I could get eggs as the store in town was closed, he said he’d get some delivered. He wasn’t kidding. As we were eating dinner, a guy arrived in a car with a bucket of fresh eggs. He claimed to be the local mayor, sheriff or whatever he needed to be. Very nice people and delicious eggs.

This is seems to be a popular stop for stop over camping. We are staying 2 nights due to my husband needing to work. They do have free wifi, but the signal strength is not great. As far as cell service, that's pretty spotty too, so I wouldn't recommend for someone that has to work remotely.
The sites are clean. Pull thru. Shade from trees. I believe they have showers and laundry, but I haven't used them. There are free snacks and drinks in the office. Staff was nice. Small town with almost nothing here. There is a gas station and liquor store. Seems like everything else is closed down.

Pretty little campground with great laundry facilities, a well-maintained dog park, and very friendly owners. Spent a very quiet night, and would definitely stay again. Thank you, Shady Grove!

LOVED this experience. It was a nice stop outside of Denver on our way home. It would be absolutely perfect in a van, RV, or vehicle. It’s right off the highway so tent camping is pretty loud due to I70. The campground is smack dab in the middle of this tiny town. The neighbors had loud barking dogs all night. Again, not normally a problem in a hard sided vehicle, but not the most fun in a tent. Traffic on the roads throughout the little town surrounding the campground had very obnoxious loud vehicles all hours of the night.
The campground itself is absolutely wonderful. They had a dog park for our dogs to play in and provided toys, benches, and bags for waste pick up. The bathrooms and laundry were also well-kept and clean. The showers were hot and worked fine.
The hosts were wonderful people. They worked with us last minute to accommodate us and our dogs. The campground also provides Wi-Fi for their guests. And that was really helpful due to the poor cell service.
None of our complaints are the campgrounds/ hosts fault. It’s just a warning to fellow tent campers that a good nights rest is probably not in the cards for you.

Stayed overnight. Owners were very friendly. Far enough off the freeway that you didn’t get any noise. Gravel sites. Relatively level. Owners have acquired the old hotel in the town and are planning on making an air bnb and a coffee bar. They were very friendly people. Great dog park.
