This small campground nestled in ponderosa pine trees is most popular at hunting seasons. Rock Springs Campground is open. Maintenance will not be provided during the winter months. Please be prepared to bring your own water and toilet paper. Hay brought into the area must be removed when you leave. Big Game poles must be taken down, and fire rings need to be cleaned out before departing. Remember this is your forest, please help to keep it clean. Please be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions. Visitors should let someone know their plans, including route of travel and an estimated time of return.
