“Seattle's finest sports bar”
We are located in Columbia City at 3820 S Ferdinand St (next door to Jones BBQ). We invite you to come by for your favorite sporting event, Happy Hour or Sunday Brunch and enjoy our excellent food in our comfortable confines, featuring reclaimed floors and bartops as well as custom artwork, and of course, 12 flat-screen TVs. Rookies Sports Bar is no corporate chain. We're a locally-owned rock and roll sports bar with Midwestern charm located in Columbia City. Here's the low-down about us: we're just a bunch of sports fanatics crazy about dishing up locally-sourced grub and pouring you a cold brewski. And yes, the rumors are true: we're not kid-tolerant; we're kid-friendly. So grab your kids, grab your wife, bring the whole posse down and enjoy sports the Rookies way. We firmly believe that local tastes better. That's why we've made it a point to make our food with locally produced ingredients. Our hamburger buns and pretzels come fresh from the Columbia City Bakery every day. Our juicy, half-pound Choice Angus Beef burger patties are delivered daily from Portland, Oregon, and our produce and other meats are grown right here in Washington State. Rookies' soups and desserts (save the Olympic Mountain Ice Cream) are all handcrafted by our chefs in-house so they taste just like Grandma used to make. And all those delicious sauces that come atop our waffle fries (that's right: waffle fries!) or accompany those mouth-watering, hand-battered fish tacos? All made in-house, especially for you. And to all you vegetarians, don't' worry, we certainly didn't forget about you: Seattle's own Field Roast patties are available for substitution in any one of our sandwiches or burgers for no extra charge. When we call ourselves a "sports bar," we're not messing around. That's why we've made it a point to offer almost every sports package and channel that Direct TV has to offer including the NFL Sunday Ticket, Fox Soccer Plus, NCAA Full Court, NHL Center Ice, NBA League Pass, MLS Direct Kick, MLB Extra Innings, and all other MLB channels. Even if you're in the mood to catch a rugby match or a snowboarding competition, don't worry, we've got you covered, too. Here's the even better news: we rock 12 flat screen TVs, including a mondo 70-incher and even a little guy right above the men's urinal so you'll never have a bad seat and never have to miss a second of the game. Have a game you want to see that isn't up on one of the screens? We play games based on a first come, first served basis so just ask and we'll get our game faces on and throw it on. Immediately.

Prices they offer are atrocious. Why in this neighborhood are you charging $20 for a hamburger? Read more
