“Remarkably cheap, ideal Dim Sum”
Jade Garden's selection of delicacies is more comprehensive than your average dim sum spot, and much better-executed. It doesn't offer much in the way of ambiance, but in the proud tradition of Asian hole-in-the-walls, that's probably a good thing. The food is what matters, and it more than passes muster. The shrimp-centric menu includes the requisite har gao, that dim sum favorite that can so often taste overly fishy with a gummy texture. But these dumplings are light and chewy, with bright pink shrimp pressing up against the delicate sticky dough like a toddler's rosy cheeks on a pane-glass window.
