You'll see giant balloons towering over crowds, balloon floats winding though town, marching bands playing songs of the holiday, clowns to make the children laugh, and of course the ARRIVAL OF SANTA CLAUS.
here is a 50% chance that it will rain. Don't be a sissy. Put on a hat and coat and HAVE FUN. This is Seattle!!! And if you are reading this early, this parade is staffed by people who are generous enough to donate their time to make others happy. These are volunteers who create or buy costrumes, practice, and take the long walk to see the joy on other people's faces. Look into being a volunteer or participant in the parade. You'll be glad you did.
Time: Starts at 9 am goes to 12 pm Depending on where you are at in the parade route Location: Normally, Starts at Pine and 7th Ave, South on 5th Ave to University Street, west to 4th Ave and north on 4th to Macy's. Cost: Free Tips: * Arrive Early * Yes this is Black Friday and all the stores have specials. * Downtown will be very heavily congested and later that evening is the Christmas Tree Lighting. If you park in one of the garages and plan on leaving early - Good Luck
