“Come spend the summer with us!”
Kamp Across from the Dunes is an RV full-service park with electric (20,30,50 amp) water and sewer at each site. Our park has two cabins for rental. We are a family-owned, family oriented, pet friendly campground located directly acrossfrom Warren Dunes State Park which is on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. We have newly remodeled shower facility and sell fire wood for your camping convenience. The Warren Dunes State Park offers a beautiful beach, the famous Tower Hill Sand Dunes, a public beach that stretches for 3 miles. Wineries and fine restaurants in the area are superb! An outlet mall and antique shops litter Red Arrow Highway. Back road bike trails and hiking trails are in our backyard. Kayaking and canoeing are offered in the area, too! Right next door is the Beach Bucket, an ice cream parlor with homemade waffle cones. Also, they have unique gift ideas and custom T-shirts.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 07, 2017Let me start by saying that, make no mistake, this is an RV Park. On the plus side, it's not a concrete slab-pit of a park, it's a cute RV campground.
I had a change of plans that put me in the area for a family reunion at the last minute so I emailed a few places to see if there was availability. Doug, one of the owners, responded very promptly that they actually had one space. I called and spoke with Kelli (his wife and other owner) and locked in the spot.
When I arrived both Doug and Kelli were in the office and they are an AMAZINGLY wonderful couple and friendly RV park owners! I got all checked in, and Doug showed me to the spot and even helped me align my sewer hook up!
Here are the Pro's and Con's:
Pro:
* SUPER location, right across the street from Warren Dunes!
* Right off the highway!
* Clean RV Park
* Amazingly nice owners
* Quiet park with mostly seasonal campers
* Ice Cream shop at the driveway (not owned by the campground, but right next door)
Con:
- RV Park - albeit it's not concrete slabs, it's super full of seasonal campers is huge fifth wheels, motor coaches, etc.
- Most spaces are pretty close together on all sides, not much a view of anything.
- Seasonal Campers (lots of campers have a lot of 'things' outside their campers and it looks slightly cluttered).
- Cell Coverage is limited.
