Deep Creek Campground

Sites located in the trees. Creek runs adjacent to the campground providing fishing. Deep Creek is located near Sand Lake, Deep Creek Trail and Rock Creek Trail at an elevation just over 10,000 feet.  The summers are cool and autumn is brief. Winter comes early and stays late. Campground facilities include: 12 small campsites, one RV pull through, picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, fire rings, and trash cans. There is a 14 day stay limit. Two popular trailheads, the Rock Creek and Sheep Lake Trails, are near. The Crater Lake Trail provides a short hike to a beautiful lake in a forested setting. Non-motorized boating is allowed on Sand Lake. There is no boat launch facility (boats must be carried a short distance to the lake).
