“one of California's top destinations”
Conveniently located near the intersections of Hwy 101 and Hwy 12, the Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park is perfect for travelers seeking to enjoy one of California's top destinations. The Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park puts you within walking distance of our famed Sonoma County Harvest Fair, the largest regional wine competition in the U.S., held the first weekend in October. You will also be near the Fairground Golf Course and the Jockey Club, our off-track horse race wagering parlor and restaurant. Please Note: the RV Park is closed to the general public during the fair.

This park is not a destination park, and it isn't walking distance to anything but the Fairgrounds. It's fine, but we won't be staying here again.

If you need to stay near Santa Rosa for a reasonable price then this is about your only option. It's ok if your passing through but not much more than that.

Made our reservation, the person that made it was super friendly. Our site has a good sized tree and yes, it is large gravel but very level. Our Level-Up system had very few adjustments. Very quiet, and I think for a FairgroundnRV Park it is very nice. Our Passport America membership allowed us 50% off the first nite so the first nite cost only $20. The fairgrounds are not in the greatest part of town but the RV Park is good.

Not much choice in RV parks in Santa Rosa. The recent fires have severely affected this park. Mgmt has split each of the formerly pull through sites into 2 back-to-back sites, effectively doubling the total site count. Problem is, larger rigs are allowed still but tend to stick out into the drive lane. This place is one big gravel parking lot, with only the back row having 50A, sites way took close, not much “living” space. Our site required the use of numerous leveling blocks on the front of our MH, something we rarely have to resort to with our HWH computerized leveling system. FEMA is in process of bringing in trailers to help displaced fire victims, so normal availability of space may become problematic real soon. The bathroom/showers are not maintained well as evidenced by the photos. Mgmt has been very helpful to us the many times we have stayed here, willing to extend our time past the 14 day limit. Location, as far as being in the middle of Santa Rosa, is great. Location, as far as being at the fairgrounds, is horrible when events are held there, in our present situation being the Emerald Cup, an all things marijuana festival. Quiet, other than listening to car traffic on the gravel all hours of the night. This was a “necessary evil” stop for us for many years, however now has been dropped from our list of choices.

I highly recommend you stay elsewhere, no cable, no Internet and the spots are super tight and on a gravel lot. No trees or grass.if nothing else is available, drycamp at walmart

Dump station costs $10. They turned a couple of their full hookup sites into dump stations. So there is water there as well.
Major disappointment, this place is horrible. As a former resident of the area for 30 years I came back to visit family and stayed here. Local government should do better in providing a facility like this, it is not an RV Park. What it is: A loose gravel parking lot with sites that are 4 inches off in angle side to side and crammed together. White chalk lines mark your site. Your neighbors will be 3 feet away from you on any side and the back. Parking is horrible, you have to park in your patio area due to small size of cramped sites as roads are too narrow for any parking in front of your Trailer. Vehicle access roads are narrow and not nearly safely wide enough, negotiating in and out towing OR NOT towing requires attention. Due to loose gravel almost any leveling device will slide when you try to level. I took mounds of the loose gravel and made my own "hills" for tire locations to get level. WiFi is a joke. Many contract workers staying here to do utility work for PG&E. Pretty consistent diesel noise almost any hour day or night. Unfortunately this place is not a comfortable place, do not stay here.

Dump fee is $20 now
I was working in the Santa Rosa area for three months and needed a place to stay with my 40' MH. Was surprised that this was the best offering in such a beautiful area with so much land. WiFi is slow a times and redirects you to a login page so you can only use with browser-based devices, NetFlix or Downloaded TV shows. Many weeds and spaces are very close together.

This place worked for what we needed for a few weeks in the Santa Rosa area. The sites are very tight and it is just an open gravel parking lot. There is a laundry room and restrooms. It is accessible to downtown Santa Rosa. The wifi is very slow and AT&T cell service was not very strong, but good enough for one person to be on the internet, emails, zoom (voice only) and make business calls.
