Bowers Museum

The Bowers Museum, Orange County's largest museum, celebrates the worlds finest arts and cultures. One of its most acclaimed exhibits, ìSpirits and Headhunters: Art of the Pacific Islands,î immerses guests into the remote lands of the Pacific Islands through its unique artifacts. Bowers Museum has also been the home to world-class exhibitions from some of the greatest museums in the world, including Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of Chinaís First Emperor, Mummies: Death and the Afterlife in Ancient Egypt, and Tibet: Treasures from the Roof of the World. Bowers Museum is also the home to the Zagat-rated restaurant, Tangata (of the Patina Restaurant Group), as well as the museumís gallery store. Like the museum, the gallery store has unique items from different cultures globally. An addition to the museum is the Bowers Kidseum that is open weekends and offers hands-on exhibits and art projects for all ages.
