We are family owned and operated. We welcome you to our home. Come relax and rejuvenate to get ready for the world. We are located just three minutes from Hearst Castle on the ocean side of Highway 1 with excellent beach access just steps from your room. Enjoy our lovely indoor heated pool and other amenities. We also have beach access from the hotel. All rooms include satelite TV, HBO, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. All rooms have free wireless internet access. Our reasonably priced, affordable rooms are spacious with both adjoining rooms and family units available. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided by the adjacent restaurant, Cavalier Restaurant. Then plan a fun-filled day with the many attractions the beautiful central coast has to offer.

Definitely not exactly what I expected. The beach access is a short walk, but the beach isn't exactly the kind you think of when you want to spend the day in the sun. Not much of a shoreline and pretty cold for June. (High of 70°, low of 48°). The "FREE" continental breakfast is a voucher for $4.00 toward your breakfast. The indoor pool is heated which is nice, and there is a laundry facility close if you need it. As for the view, there's another motel between you and the ocean so there's not a lot to see. You can hear the cars on the highway more than the ocean. If I had know better, I'd have selected The Morgan for a few more bucks to add a bit more luxury.
