“birthplace of gonzo journalism!”
This humble abode was once home to the wacky inventor of Gonzo journalism- Hunter S. Thompson himself. He lived here in the mid-60s while working on Hell's Angels: The Strange and Terrible Saga of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. If you look closely, you can still see patched bullet holes in the building- reminders of the wild parties that occurred. NOTE: Private property- please be polite!
