“restaurant & lounge”
Lending ourselves to the rich history of America’s Finest City, we flourish with a sophistication that can only come from the test of time. At our root is San Diego’s Old City Hall building, established in 1874. Now a restaurant & lounge, we pay homage to our history while serving the city with an entertaining dining experience that comes with authentic old world charm. At Florent, we believe craft isn’t a word that should be used lightly. Our cocktail menu is unpretentious yet vigilant, honoring barkeeps past with modern takes on classic recipes. Espresso-infused tequila? Chocolate bitters? Cinnamon & clove-infused whiskey? We believe there are no limits on the taste of creativity, especially when it comes to cocktails. Locally grown vegetables, rare protein and fresh fish drive our menu, while Executive Chef Brad Hightow uses progressive techniques to flawlessly bring the ingredients together. The modern-american and global-gastro charm shines bright in recipes such as Nashville Hot Quail, Tiger Shrimp Fettuccine and Smoked Cheddar Mac & Cheese. Brunch & lunch are equally as delicious, especially when paired with Bottomless Mimosas or Bacon Bloody Marys.
