“Fun Winery & Quaint Shops”
Bernardo Winery! We look forward to you visiting our Winery and Village tucked away in the hills of North County, San Diego. Come to taste the wine and stay to enjoy all that the winery has to offer in our little slice of the old country. The Bernardo Winery, family owned for three generations and over 125 years old, is still fully functional as a producing wine in San Diego, with San Diego grapes. The winery has transitioned over the years from the early production and growing style established in San Diego by the missionaries to family heritage roots by producing Italian varietals as well as Spanish and French varietals, dry climate style wines well suited for the San Diego Terrior. Our tasting room is open daily to sample our wines. After your wine tasting, explore the the centuries-old buildings and wine making equipment, new and old, beautiful gardens, unique studios, galleries and shopping in our village of shops. The Cafe and coffee shop offer breakfast, lunch and snack items for you to enjoy on the grounds also.If you’re planning a social event, please consider one of our unique winery venues, accommodating 8-400 people in rustic old world winery charm like no other and staff that makes you feel like family the moment you enter the grounds.
