McAllister Park, is yet one more great and huge 976 acres park which is a favorite outdoors destination for people living in San Antonio.

Honestly, i have been in many cities in the USA and Europe, but i have to admit that San Antonio rates among my top favorite cities in the world. There are so many natural parks, pathways, gardens, walking routes that you will simply fall in love with this city.

McAllister Park is ideal for bicycling and running whether alone or with friends. There are many trails that are in great condition and within the park you will find many sports facilities and two playgrounds for kids to play and have fun. It is totally up to you which trail you will choose, but please be careful during the summer period, because you may encounter snakes as we did last July. Therefore, always keep the kids close to you and don't leave them just wonder around.
