“purely descended from family recipes”
For over six generations this expression of Italian simplicity has been the driving force that guides the family of Alfredo Pisano. Alfredo, whose family is native to the small town of Pisa, has traveled the world over; only to reside in the modest city that is San Antonio, Texas. It was here, after years of hard work and dedication that Alfredo and his family decided to set up shop and return to their roots in the creation of gourmet Italian desserts. “It was time for a change,” said Alfredo, who was in the restaurant and catering business for the prior three-decades. “I was looking for something that was comparable to the flavours of long ago…and since I couldn’t find anything here, I figured it wasn’t a bad idea to invite others into our kitchen.” And with that rekindled spirit, he and his family pursued the tradition that is the Italian Gelateria; and what was to follow can only be described as remarkable.
