ARBOR HOUSE SUITES

We pride ourselves in providing our guests with an authentic San Antonio stay and our storied 109 year history dates back to 1903 when a Swiss cabinet maker built these cottage homes for himself and his family. Today, our history is writing the stories for our guests, many of them repeatedly year after year. Our four Victorian inspired houses comprise the 7 well-appointed Guest Suites.Each house has a story and share a lush garden designed and planted by the owner and staff. Adorned with a beautiful fountain courtyard, outdoor seating, natural shaded landscaping and umbrella tables, guests often have their delivered continental breakfast outdoors, enjoying a good book and relaxing under a canopy of native Texas flora and the warmth of the morning sunlight.What’s so intriguing about an Arbor House Suites stay is how close you are to all of the downtown historic landmarks and attractions. Conveniently located, you’re one block away from the historic La Villita and River Walk and two blocks from the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center. Other attractions, like the Alamo, are three blocks away.Each of the seven Guest Suites have been individually decorated with furnishings and art work collected from a myriad of sources – functional, interesting and fun. You will never stay in a hotel as unique, intimate or convenient. Each of the four Victorian Houses has only three suites featuring high ceilings, pine floors, private baths and all the conveniences for an enjoyable stay. All of the suites have refrigerators, microwaves and coffee pots and some suites also have private balconies.
