Welcome to San Isabel Bed and Breakfast Inn in Salida, Colorado. The land here is spectacular! We are located midway between Salida and Buena Vista. Our night sky's are beautiful with millions of stars visible free from light polution. Chaffee County, CO boasts of more fourteen thousand foot peaks than any other county in the continental United States. The Arkansas River headwaters generously provide us with fly-fishing, rafting, kayaking, and hiking like nowhere else in the U.S. A variety of wildlife visits us year round. Bring your Jeep or ATV and enjoy some of the many off road trails. Horseback riding, mountain climbing, skiing at nearby Monarch Ski Area,snow shoeing, snowmobiling, road rallies, antique and classic car shows, mountain hiking the Colorado Trail, skiing, snowboarding or try the new ziplines all are favorite activities of residents and visitors alike. The San Isabel Bed and Breakfast B&B provides an exceptional alternative to the typical hotel stay, featuring Rocky Mountain lodging in four comfortable rooms with queen size beds. Cozy living rooms and outside sitting areas are always available, and full gourmet breakfasts are served each morning. Scenery is provided at no extra charge! We are PET FRIENDLY, "WELL BEHAVED, SOCIALIZED NON AGGRESSIVE DOGS"are welcomed! Your dog will enjoy exploring our five and a half fenced acres. Dogs are allowed in the lower rooms - the Catch n Release and Colorado - but cannot be left alone. An additional $10 per dog a night is charged with half going to the Ark Valley Humane Society. Please indicate when you book that you intend to bring a dog. You will be responsible for any damage.
