“One of Florida's most treasured attractions”
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park is one of Florida’s oldest and most treasured attractions. Since 1893, it has provided visitors with exciting and educational opportunities to interact with a wide range of crocodilians, reptiles, mammals and birds. Located on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, The Alligator Farm features natural exhibits, wildlife shows and educational demonstrations. It is the only place in the world where visitors can see every species of alligator, crocodile, caiman and gharial. In 1992, The Alligator Farm was designated a U.S. Historic District.
This was a fantastic place to go! Very well done with wonderful exhibits. My 6-year old really enjoyed feeding the alligators and the crocodile feeding demonstration. I enjoyed a boardwalk over the swamp with alligators and a natural rookery with hundreds of nesting egrets, spoonbills, and cranes in the treetops!
My kids loved it! If you are in town you have to go!
This place is like a lush zoo with many different kinds of alligators, crocodiles, turtles, and other species. Beautiful plants. Not that big. We spent about one-and-a-half hours there.
Pretty cool place - a lot more than just alligators! My boys 13,12 & 7 loved it!
Great park lots of fun animals everywhere! !
