Cherokee Casino Roland RV Park

I've stayed at quite a few casino parking lots in Nevada. This was the best casino stay by far. Not just the price but full hookups?? Come on. A little road noise from the interstate but it wasn't terrible. There were a few other campers but all in all it was a great night while traveling through the area.

All the other reviews are spot on. Very easy access from the 40. Easy to back in spots with full hook ups. The hook ups are at the very rear of each spot. Head all the way back to the parking garage and the well lit lot is on the right side across from the entrance of the parking deck. I was the only camper on a Saturday night.

Full hookups for 5 large RV parking area. Worth a visit

This is the real deal. Free and full hook ups! It’s easy to get into right off of I 40 and the casino has complementary non-alcoholic beverages to boot! The only challenge we had was that the gravel area got very muddy when it rained. We saw deer in the field directly behind the RV parking lot. A nice bonus.

Gravel lot was mostly dirt. 5 back in sites. All hookups at the back. Electric pedistal’s had 20 amp 30 amp and 50 amp hookups but we’re not hot so no electric. Sign in forms at the front on side of small fenced in area. No turnaround so have to be good at backing and maneuvering. Casino food was great. We pretty much boondocked with genny. Semi quiet but at times loud when a Harley or something would arrive or depart from casino parking lot.

Really appreciate the hospitality. My family and I needed a place to sleep in our motorbike for the night. Free full hookups, but the electric is currently broken. There is enough room for five rigs. Perfect for what we needed.

Besides the other reviews describing the (5) FHU RV sites behind the casino, they have a free large truck parking area in the front parking lot near the road, level, pavement, and easy access. No hookups. It is great for overnight stops, short walk into casino, and has a small breakfast diner across the street if you prefer over casino food. Evidence of "bad doggie owners" on the grass is the only knock to cleanliness.

How can you go wrong with full hookups for free. Didn’t use electricity as we are on solar but timing was perfect for us to dump and take on another 30 gallons of water. We will use this overnight stop again. Also signs indicated you can stay for two nights - not just one!

Full hook ups, totally free, what more could you want... all I needed was a little water so I took the spot on the end with no hook ups so I did not have to disconnect...all of the sites are back in and the hook ups are in the back, that could pose a problem for some people. I have solar and a huge battery bank so it worked out great for me.

Hosted as a courtesy to casino patrons, I felt no pressure to lose my life savings here and did appreciate the full hookup amenities, the security patrolling regularly, and this gracious example of kinship with our Native American brothers and sisters. No 30amp issues experienced at site #1. Filled up late evening but only one other RV here at 6:30 when I arrived. Perhaps a carry out breakfast at the hotel restaurant this morning.
