“Nestled in the foothills of the Cascades”
The Cascadian Home Farm is nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking North Cascades mountain range. This 28-acre farm in western Washington's Upper Skagit Valley is the birthplace of the Cascadian Farm portfolio of delicious organic foods. And we're proud to tell you that over 40 years after its founding, the Cascadian Home Farm is still rooted in to the organic values we've always believed in. At the Cascadian Home Farm, we grow our crops and protect the local ecosystem using sustainable organic methods. Today our fields are producing mostly fresh blueberries, but we also farm organic strawberries, raspberries, hardy kiwis, peppers, corn and pumpkins. During the summer, our Roadside Stand is open daily — so you can plan a road trip and stop in for a pint of our fresh, seasonal berries or homemade organic ice cream. Trust us, the scenery is beautiful, and the food can't be beat! We've also got luscious shortcakes, preserves and delicious organic snacks. You'll be glad you made the trip. In the off-season, we close up the Roadside Stand. But we're still here, working and planning so that next year's bounty will be just as pure and delectable as the last. Every May, we open the doors again. We're excited to meet you in person, so be sure to stop by. In the meantime, you can find us coast-to-coast at mainstream supermarkets and select natural food stores across the country. We're happy to share the great tastes of Cascadian Farm with you and your family.
As you wrap up a drive through the North Cascades on WA SR-20, this is a great little stop offering farm fresh fruits and vegetables. Berry season makes the stop all the better. Did I mention they have ice cream?
Stopped by the Cascadian Home Farm's to stretch our legs and eat some Affogato and ice cream. It was a great little place to stop and recoup.
