We stopped here on our way to Yellowstone. It is down a well maintained dirt road. Easy to access and turn around. There are multiple (~10) spots along the road. We were able to camp right along the lake in a mostly level spot that had fire pits with rocks around them. There are tons of little black/clear flies. They don’t bite or sting just annoying. Beautiful free spot to camp. We saw many boats on the lake fishing.

I have rated this 4 star only because of the gravel road coming in. It is at least 5 miles on a washboard but worth it. We are by ourselves. The vault toilet is clean. No campsites but a big gravel area. We are on the lake and it is beautiful. I would definitely come again. I wish we could stay longer. We also hear cows in a field nearby. Very pastoral.

4 stars just for the road leading in and no cell phone service. Everything else was great. Able to make it out in a 24 ft class c motor home. Make sure you gas up in Riverton before you go there. Long bumpy dirt road in, not too many rugs or rocks.

There's a little turnaround with a manky looking vault toilet, but the road that leads out onto Long Point continues out of the back of this area. Pretty hard to miss.
I arrived in the late afternoon on a weekday in October and I had my choice of probably a dozen campsites with large picnic shelters and fire rings. There is a vault toilet out on the end of the point that's M/F split, with both sides clean and stocked with toilet paper. The sunrise view from my campsite on the end of the point is going to be miraculous.
A little road noise from WY 134 at night. Dies right down after a while.
Nice campsite. Easy to get to once you know the way. Looks to me like it can handle longer rigs as well as truck campers like mine.

You may want to set your GPS to the intersection of. GABES RD and LONG POINT RD. And follow the signs to Ocean Lake Wildlife Habitat mgmt area. From that intersection you will be driving about a mile and a half down a slightly washed wide dirt road, not bad at all. The GPS coordinates take you to private property on the other side of the lake, is confusing.

While access is tedious, it has an unbelievable view and natural feel. Roads are dirt/shell for 5 miles. If you go all the way to the point, there are numerous relatively level large areas that easily accommodated our 65’ rig. It’s a long peninsula into Ocean Lake and at the end there are numerous covered concrete picnic tables with grills and fire rings. Most are right on the water as well as a boat launch. There was only a single other camper there and a family went out for several hours in their boat as a day use.

Hell has opened up a portal on this peninsula. I hadn't seen this many black widows in total in my life. Beautiful spot- I was congratulating myself for finding it, but too early. We had settled down, the sun had set, and I was about to go to bed when I saw one scitter out from underneath my camper. A big one. I killed it, looked closely at the hourglass on its back.. flashed my light around. Saw four more. Thought for a few minutes, decided to leave as I had a toddler and a baby with. In the twenty minutes it took me to pack up to race out - I saw more than twenty more. Little males, big females, juveniles.. just everywhere. What a nightmare. It's too bad, it's really pretty, but.. with that volume of them.. it's inevitable, you are going to get bit. Avoid it.

Road to site was rough, but manageable with our 37' 5th wheel. Rock/dirt road with some potholes but even after couple of rains, still good. Pavillion and grill at several sites. All seemed to have fire pits.
Great views, especially at night. Some local traffic to boat ramp at end, but quiet.
Be prepared for mosquitoes. Bug spray worked well.
