Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 05, 2023Very easy access off Beaver Creek Road. We camped in a huge spot. Very level. Was hot but got lots of evening showers and a breeze. Heard coyotes at night. Beautiful stars. Hummingbirds came to my feeder first day. Was two miles to Beaver Creek where we ride our quads to every day for a swim. Fishing was fair. Phone service was fair. Views were spectacular. Lots of other campgrounds in the area. We had no one close to us though. No trash. The day use parking at creek has a free area on one side of road and pay sire with host on the other side.

We ended up staying across the little valley at another dispersed camping area off Soda Springs Road but we did look at this location first.
There are about 3 "spots". You could fit more rigs if you were traveling with others.
Our phones and hotspot registered Verizon LTE but it did NOT work. We couldn't even load the speed test. If you have a booster, you might have better luck!
This is a beautiful area! And we definitely would have stayed in this specific spot if we didn't need LTE for work. Really easy to get to (just a few minutes from Interstate 17 and 20-30 minutes from Sedona depending on traffic. Way fewer people than in dispersed camping areas we scouted out west of Sedona.

Just 1.25 miles from I-17 and 16 miles from Sedona. Black top access right to the turn-off to the campsites. Easy to get level. Only one other rig the night I was there.
I just used it for an overnight layover half way between Page & Phoenix. Had to clean up a bit of trash that some other jerk had left .....grrrr.

This road is close to Sedona, nothin special here just a good place to set up although it’s pretty raw camping out here. Experienced car campers will not have too much trouble finding a spot although I wouldn’t say there’s an abundance of camp spots. I saw tons of less experienced folks drive right by potential campsites. Located near a few attractions so that’s a plus!

Great spot to visit the Oak Creek / Sedona / Red Rocks area. Weather is usually fairly agreeable year-round, never too hot / seldom too cold. Nice central location to visit just about anywhere in State 48. Some decent RV parks in close vicinity, if you need to dump and/or need a few days away from the boondocks.

If you visit red rocks in Sedona, this is an option. To access the campsites it’s a little dirt road but it’s accessible for big rigs. It’s also right next to the highway but you don’t hear the cars. Great for camping!!!!

Stayed at the second pull out. Beautiful views and sunsets. Cell service was awesome for remote work. Only down fall was being so close to the road, but traffic was pretty minimal.

We drove in at dusk and grabbed a nice spot between some small trees. Only about 4 other people where in the area. Maybe 8-10 spots if you don’t mind being close to others. A few fire rings were there. It is near the road but it is not very busy. Some dry river beds to walk on to avoid cacti if you have a dog.

This boondocking area has a lot of options. We had great views and a lot of privacy. It was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, we need strong cell service for internet and couldn’t get enough to work so we had to move on early. Download speeds for Verizon fluctuated from less than 1 to about 3 or 4. ATT was essentially nonfunctional.

Great quiet spot along a dirt road. Did have a moment of terror when some locals came through using all the traffic signs as target practice.
